Yedikule Castle in Istanbul
The Castle Yedikule Yedikule Hisari of Istanbul's historic landmarks that are worth the visit actually, because of its historical significance, where built by Emperor Theodosius II Theodosius II in the fifth century with the intention of defending Constantinople.
Of the most notable things in this castle is a giant golden arch, which was known as Porta Aurea any Golden Gate being gold-plated.
When the Ottomans conquered the city used the castle as a fortress for the defense, and then as a prison.
